Happy Easter Week!

This last week we reached over 110 articles on Teen Jazz since August 2012. I’m really excited about the progress the site is making, all of the fabulous guest posts we’ve had on the site and I’m grateful to all the musicians who have taken the time to do interviews with us and share a little bit about what they do.

But now I’d like to include you even more.

I’m always looking for great ideas to include on the website, but there are so many different things to cover it’s hard to filter through all the different options.

So I’m asking for your help.

What would you like to see on Teen Jazz? What questions do you have about the music industry and what would you like to learn about?

If you don’t mind sharing some of your questions and ideas, I’d love to hear them. So feel free to reply to this email with them.

And, of course, if you are interested in contributing an article to Teen Jazz, I’d love to go over the possibility with you.

I can’t wait to read your suggestions and I appreciate all of your help and support.

Interview with composer Andrew Balogh

We’re really excited to announce the release of our first eBook on Teen Jazz.

You may have seen the first edition of it appear briefly as part of our 12 Deals of Christmas, and the response to the free version was overwhelmingly positive. So, we’ve decided to create a more complete version of the Album Checklist and release it as a bundle with editable versions of the checklists and worksheets.

The book is now available through the Teen Jazz website and will hopefully be available through other online retailers.

We’re so happy to introduce this new book to our community and we hope to get feedback on it to improve new editions (which for the time being, are free with the purchase of the current edition). With this book we hope to simplify the album release process and help you all keep your recording projects organized.

Hey everyone,

On January 8, 2013 we added the last of our archive articles back on to Teen Jazz. This is the first time that every article has been up on the site since it went through a series of redesigns, so needless to say, we are quite excited!

Since the each of the archive articles are now up, we’ll be moving towards a less frequent posting scheduling. New articles will be added twice a week rather than every other day with the exception of Teen Jazz Artists pages which will be added on an “as received” basis.

Thank you everyone for all of your support! We look forward to 2013!

Since its latest revision, Teen Jazz has hit 50 articles! We’re working to continue adding the archive as well as create new and exciting posts for you. Here’s what’s new for this week.
